Tourwriter Packages enable you to set up your favourite combinations of Booking Items as a package, then drag and drop those bookings into as many new Itineraries as you like. The following post will take you through how to set up a Package, how to add it into another Itinerary, and how it will look in your client’s Itinerary.

Rearranging fields on Bookings tab
To personalise the fields you view in the List Subtab select the Field Chooser Field Chooser Icon (top left of the Bookings Items workspace). Choose your preferred Fields by ticking or unticking the required fields. Tourwriter will “remember” these settings each time you login under your Username.
Tourwriter Bookings Window
To open the Tourwriter bookings window, double click on the applicable Booking Name in your Booking Items list.
Making Amendments in the Bookings List Subtab
If you need to make any changes to the Services you have added to an Itinerary, there are two ways to do this; Make amendments directly to the Service in the Bookings List or by double click on the Service line and make your changes in the Tourwriter bookings window.
Sending Booking Requests Via Tourwriter
Sending Supplier booking requests from Tourwriter requires a number of things to be set up in advance. Once these are done, you will be able to send booking requests to your suppliers, directly from Tourwriter.
Editing Itinerary Prices
At the bottom of the Bookings List Subtab, Tourwriter will total the cost of all Bookings, and allow for adjustments to the Final Sell Price.
Splitting Bookings – Move to new Booking ID
Tourwriter will automatically link Bookings for the same Supplier (i.e. give them the same Booking ID – BkID number). For example when you book two separate transfers using the same Supplier.
